The safety issue here is the total time from when the food is prepared to when it is cooled EACH TIME!

The total "Room Temp" time (danger zone) in Utah is no more than 2 hours.
Bacteria counts double every twenty minutes, so in two hours you have 6 times the amount of bacteria present!

This happens even if you have food out for one hour, then freeze it, put it out for another hour and there you have your 2 hour maximum!
